Other safety regulations
- Always follow the safety rules. Use protective clothing and special protective equipment to prevent
damage to the eyes and skin.
- Always use a protective glove when using the welder or use glasses with a protective dark glass.
- Be careful that sparks do not fly on your body.
- Avoid contact with the cables of the welding machine, do not touch the electrode holder and the
surface to be welded.
- Do not work under water or in areas with high humidity.
- Smoke and gas entering the air during welding are harmful to health. Before starting work, make sure
the welding hood and ventilation are working properly.
- Ensure that the welding arc does not endanger other persons near the welding point.
- Do not forget that the temperature of the treated surface increases during welding, so do not touch
the parts to be treated to prevent burns.
- Do not touch the power supply or other parts of the welding machine that are under power.
Disconnect the power immediately after completing work or leaving the workplace.
- Never operate where there is a risk of electric shock.
- Never heat containers containing flammable or explosive materials.
- At high altitudes, observe the safety rules for working at heights to avoid accident.
- Make sure there are no strangers here.
- The welder emits electromagnetic waves and cancels radio frequencies. People who use
pacemakers or other accessories using electromagnetic and radio waves should not be near the
device.
OPERATION
Connect the welding cables.
Press and rotate the electrode holder cable to the connection terminal (6) (+ pin). Push and rotate the
grounding cable into the ground terminal (7) (- contact).
Connect the ground clamp as close as possible to the welding point.
Adjust the welding current.
Turn the potentiometer (4) to set the desired welding current. For the optimal current selection mode
for material thickness and electrode diameter, use the table below.
Output current (A)
Diameter of the electrode (
Φ
,
mm)
20-80
1,6-2,5
80-125
2,5-3,2
125-160
3,2-4,0
160-190
4,0-5,0
To activate the EXTRA POWER mode to turn on the high welding current, press the appropriate button
(9).
To turn off the mode, press the button again.
Turn on the welder
Plug the power cord plug into a 220 V single socket. Press the On /Off button (8) on the rear panel to
the "I" position, the power light (green LED) lights up. To turn off the power, press the On/Off the back
panel to the "O" position.
The power indicator goes off.
Insert the welding electrode into the electrode holder. When welding, hold the electrode 10 mm from
the weld and at an angle of 70° - 80°.
Warning !!!
1. Do not shut down the device immediately after completing the job.
After welding, leave the machine turned on to cool down enough. When the yellow indicator light (2) is
lit, the thermal protection switches off. The cooling time of the welding machine is from 2 to 5 minutes
depending on ambient temperature.
2. "Test" indicator light - if it lights up, it means that the welding machine is overloaded. It is necessary
to remove the plug from the socket and wait about 10 seconds and then plug the plug back into the
socket. Then you can continue to work. If the indicator is still on, contact a service center.
