Battery Installation Instructions
For Model V1730CR
IMPORTANT
:
Your battery has not been installed in your sweeper and is
packed separately. Please follow the instructions below to install your battery
before connecting the sweeper to the charger.
CAUTION:
This appliance contains Ni-Cd batteries. The batteries must
be recycled or disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. Please consult your Yellow Pages or local
recycling center for more information.
1.
Remove sweeper from box and place upside down on a soft surface that will not
scratch the unit.
2.
Remove battery pack from its small brown box.
3.
Insert battery pack’s fixed tabs into slots on sweeper. (Fig. 1)
4.
Rotate battery pack closed and press on snap end of pack until the snap clicks
into place. (Fig. 2)
WARNING
:
You must never use ordinary batteries for replacement as these
may leak and cause damage. Use only battery pack XBP615
for replacement.

Insert screw driver or similar in between legs of snap on battery pack to ensure it
is fully locked in place. (Fig. 3)
6.
It is now time to charge your sweeper for 20 hours.
