Performing a correlation measurement
Depending on the setting
(see section 8.6.2) 16, 32, 64
or 128 averaging procedures
(measuring processes) will be
performed.
The display will show which
averaging procedure is cur-
rently being performed.
The correlation function is
updated continually during the
measurement.
You can pause the correlation
measurement at any time by
briefly pressing the
ON key
.
You can continue the paused
measurement at any time.
The result will be shown after
the measurement. The illustra

tion on the left is an example
of the progression of the cor-
relation function. The
mode of
curve depends on the setting
in the Filters/Setup menu.

Analyzing results
The correlation function in

dicates in the form of peaks
where a leak may be located.
The “x-axis” shows the time
difference in ms (milliseconds).
The marking is automatically
set at the highest peak.
