2.3.3.3 Operating signal

An operating signal is available only in the

The operating signal indicates that the device is working properly.
The signal is emitted regularly every 20 seconds.
Whilst an error message is visible, no operating signal is dis-
played.
2.3.3.4 Signals in the event of faults
In the event of error messages, the audible signal can be ac-
knowledged/disabled, but not the visual signal.
2.3.4
Display illumination
The display has a backlight. When the device is switched on,
the display will automatically switch on when any key is pressed.
The period of illumination can be changed using the
GasCom
software.
2.3.5
Gas input and filter
The test gas or ambient air is drawn in using the pump via the
gas inlet.
In certain cases and in certain situations of measurement, acces-
sories are connected to the gas input, for example:

test gas hose of the test set
SPE AutoFlow

conditioner
for humidifying the gas that is sucked in
● carbon dioxide filter

The operating signal can be disabled using the
GasCom
software. If the
operating signal is disabled, the type-examination certificate of DEKRA
Testing and Certification GmbH is invalidated.
