Manual operation with MOVITOOLS

MotionStudio

Operation

Brake

On DRC drive units with a brake, you can release the brake even without drive enable
signal by enabling the "Brake release" checkbox [8].

10.1.3 Reset in manual mode

If an error occurs at the DRC inverter, you can reset the error by clicking on the [Reset]
button [10].

10.1.4 Timeout monitoring in manual mode

Timeout monitoring is active during manual mode to prevent uncontrolled operation of
the DRC drive unit in case of communication problems.

If communication between MOVITOOLS

MotionStudio and the DRC inverter is

interrupted longer than this timeout interval, the enable signal for the DRC drive unit is
withdrawn. Manual mode remains active.
