A braking resistor connected to the MOVITRAC

LT can be used to convert braking

energy generated by the motor into thermal energy. This braking resistor is suitable for
applications with a short deceleration ramp or a high mass moment of inertia.

Functionality

The resistor is installed in the frequency inverter.

•

The MOVITRAC

LT firmware protects the braking resistors BW LT against over-

load, so no external overload relays are required.

•

An internal fusible element ensures fault-free operation.

•

The BW LT 100 002 can be compactly mounted in the heat sink of the
MOVITRAC

LT in the IP20 design and in this way offers an integrated solution.
