1) Before starting up a MOVIFIT
®
-FC drive that uses a constant DC brake, you must connect an additional, external braking resistor to
the MOVIFIT
®
-FC inverter. The braking resistor is used to dissipate the regenerative energy.
DANGER
If you use binary output DB00 to control the brake, do not change the parameters of
the binary output functions.
Severe or fatal injuries
• Before using the binary output for controlling the brake, check the parameter
settings.
