Check or Change the Permission File

The permission ﬁle lists which optional features (such as GLONASS, Galileo, RTK, ...) are per-
mitted on your receiver, for how long they are permitted and in which region they are per-
mitted.

The permission ﬁle is stored in the receiver’s non-volatile memory, and can be checked with
the command

lstInternalFile, Permissions

, or with RxControl by clicking

Note that, for a given feature to be enabled in the receiver, it must be permitted and the
hardware and ﬁrmware version must support it. See also section 1.33.

Each receiver is delivered with a permission ﬁle applicable to that receiver only. To enable
new options, the user can order a new permission ﬁle to Septentrio, and install it on his/her
receiver using the standard upgrade procedure (see section 1.32).
