Configuration Error Codes
Error codes are displayed on front panel LCD.

Charger
Module
Invalid charger position jumper setting
for a channelized charger. Jumpers on
channelized chargers must identify the
charger position: either no jumper
(position 0) or a single jumper in
(positions 1 9).
Channelized operation is not compatible
with jumper-selected output settings.
- To operate in a channelized configuration,
install one jumper to select charger positions
1 9, or no jumper to select position 0. When
a channelized unit contains multiple
chargers, each charger in that unit must be
set to a different position number.
- To operate without channelized outputs,
use the keypad "Enable/Disable DC Output
Ch" selection in the "Other Settings" menu or
the setup utility to disable all output
channels for the display board. Then use the
"Set DC Output" setting in the "Other
Settings" menu or the setup utility to assign
all chargers to the default DC output channel
(0). For factory default settings install
jumpers on the charger in all three Float
Voltage positions or two float settings plus
one Range jumper. For other standard
settings, install three jumpers on the charger
to select the Battery Type, Float Voltage, and
Range for your battery.

Simultaneous use of output jumper
settings and keypad control
for a non-
channelized charger. The display board
keypad is enabled while the charger
output is controlled by its jumper settings.
Output can be either keypad controlled or
jumper-selected, but not both
simultaneously.
- To operate under keypad control, remove
all charger output setting jumpers.

Inconsistent jumper settings
for non-
channelized chargers.
When multiple non-channelized chargers
operate in parallel using output jumper
settings, all the chargers must have
identical settings. This prevents
unexpected output settings changes if the
master charger (the charger with the
lowest power board serial number) loses
SENSbus data communication for any
reason.
- For factory default settings install jumpers
on the charger in all three Float Voltage
positions or two Float settings plus one
Range jumper of every charger.
- For other standard settings, install three
jumpers on each charger To select the
Battery Type, Float Voltage and Range, using
settings appropriate For your battery. all
chargers must use the same settings.
- For keypad control (programmed settings),
remove all output setting jumpers from all
the chargers.
