Only a trained electrician may carry out electrical work and work on the electrical
connections.
Observe and comply with the applicable regulations for electrical installation. Only
connect the connection wires of the drive when there is no live voltage! Risk of
death if not observed!
Ensure that there are no persons or anything else that could block them in the
path of the roller shutters. Observe these operating instructions at all times. They
are part of the device and the warranty conditions.
2. Intended use
The universal setting cable is intended solely for the commissioning and setting of SELVE
drives. Please also observe the original operating instructions of the respective drive.
Remove the universal setting cable after completing commissioning.
3. Getting started
By switching the operating mode, the universal setting cable makes it possible to connect the
identically coloured motor connection cables of wired SELVE drives ( 4 wires) and SELVE
drives that use radio or SMI (5 wires).
