10.4 Getting Off the Trekker PT
Getting off the Trekker PT is similar to walking down the stairs. For the first few attempts, ask your
instructor to hold the leansteer bar.
•
Keeping the Trekker PT balanced by holding the leansteer bar with both hands, take your feet off
the footplate one foot at a time
• Stabilize your body, and do not move the leansteer bar when dismounting
• Do not take your hands off the steering bar before the Trekker PT is switched off, even though your
feet are no longer on the machine, as the machine will move forward – possibly causing injury or
damage.
