8.0 Connect and Control by Smartphone App
Download the app and pair to Trekker PT.
The Trekker PT can be controlled by smartphone app using iPhone 4S or above, iPad3 or above, iPod
Touch5 or above or Android 4.3 or above. Connection is by bluetooth 4.0 ver sion, built into the Trekker
PT using the following steps:
i. Download and install the app from the Apple Store or Google Play
ii. Enable bluetooth on your phone, and make it visible to new devices
iii. Turn on the Trekker PT
iv. Open the app, and start the pairing sequence by tapping the double
blades in the top left hand corner. The pairing sequence will start. The
phone will search for the Trekker PT in the immediate vicinity.
v. Once connection is successful, the bluetooth icon in the signal indicator
on the footplate will light up
vi. NOTE: If there are other Trekker Pros in the vicinity, ensure that they are powered off
completely to avoid pairing with the wrong machine
vii. On locating the machine, the app will show you the serial number of the machine
viii. Once the serial number is displayed, press the serial number and a box will appear asking for
the passcode
ix. Enter passcode 666666. This will allow you to use the phone app
x. The Trekker PT's parameters can now be adjusted via the app
WARNING: If there is more than 1 machine, turn on and pair only 1 machine at a time, otherwise
all machines will be paired to the same phone
