For using a LDAP server follow the approach below.



Open the dialog

External Authentication

On the tab

LDAP

insert the data of the LDAP servers.



Insert the host name or the IP address of the server in the field

IP address or host

name



Enter the server domain into the field

Server Domain

Under

User name

insert your user name of the server.



Under

User password

insert your password and retype it in the field

Confirm user

Store your settings with

you have to create new groups in the Active Directory (AD), and users, which may access

the local net have to be members in these new groups.
