A safe working condition of the machine is ensured if:
• Emergency loop is available. This includes:
• Stop actuator not activated.
• Charger is not connected to the mains.
• Machine is switched on (ON/OFF key).
• SAFETY_OK signal is available which depends on:
• Step board switch.
• Microprocessor trigger protocol.
• Plausible values of throttle and guidance hall sensor.
6.8.3 Emergency loop
Stop actuator
• If the stop actuator is pressed the emergency loop is interrupted.
• If the emergency loop is interrupted the current of the power
relay (04/137) is interrupted which disconnects the battery from
the electronics.
Charger
• The charger has a built-in relay.
• As soon as the mains are connected to the charger the relay will
interrupt the emergency loop and the electronics will be
disconnected from the batteries.
Remarks
If the charger has to be removed from the machine it is required to
plug in a jumper on the electronics. Otherwise the machine will not
work. (Interrupted emergency loop).
Switch ON/OFF key
• To switch on the machine, the ON/OFF key has to be turned first
to start position and then remain on position 1.
• As soon as the magnet is positioned above the reed contact the
emergency loop will be closed, the relay switches and the
machine will switch on.
