This section describes how to connect the DiskStor USB
hard drive to a Windows-based computer and how to
install the necessary USB drivers.
1. Boot up your computer
Your computer should be powered on and Windows
should be fully loaded before you attach the drive.
2. Connect the power adapter
Make sure the drive is turned off. Attach the small, round
power connector to the drive, as shown in Figure 1. Plug
one end of the power cord into the transformer and then
plug the other end into a wall socket or power strip.
3. Turn the drive on
Turn on the drive using the power switch on the back of
the drive, as shown in Figure 2. Your computer should
already be powered on.
