2 Sensor Ports
1.
Mount the Remote Key within 18"
of the Alarm Module, and plug it
into the Remote Key Jack on the
Alarm Module.
2.
Insert the key, push in and turn
clockwise. (This places the Alarm
in the “Stand-by” position).
Note: The key can only be removed
in the “ON” position.
3.
Insert the appropriate adapter into
the SK-595 AC/DC power supply.
Plug it into an electrical outlet, and
the other end into the AC/DC
Power Supply Jack on the Alarm
Module.
4.
Choose a small flat area on the
product where the sensor is to be
applied.
VERY IMPORTANT!
NOTE:
Clean the area on the display
product and the sensor with Alcohol
Prep Pads.
Wipe these surfaces
DRY
with a clean paper towel. If the
paper towel shows dirt,
REPEAT THIS
CLEANING STEP
until the surfaces
are
CLEAN & DRY
!
When replacing the Adhesive
5.
Remove the sensor adhesive
Assembly Instructions:
from its backing sheet. Apply
the adhesive pad to the
bottom of the sensor, making
sure that the center hole of
the adhesive lines up with the
plunger on the bottom of the
sensor.
6.
Remove the backing sheet
from the other side of the
adhesive pad and position the
sensor over the flat area of
the display product previously
cleaned. Press the sensor f
firmly into place to insure a
proper bond.
7.
Following the important clean-
ing steps, apply the base
adhesive to the alarm module
and adhere it to the display
surface.
8.
Turn the key counter clockwise
o the “ON” position and remove.
The Alarm is now Ready
& Active.
Additional Instructions:
1.
Your alarm is equipped with
2 ports. If only one port is used
on a displayed product a shunt
plug must be installed into the
other port. If this is not done the
alarm will sound.
2.
Prior to placing the sensor on
the product, the area where the
sensor is to be applied must be
cleaned with the alcohol wipe
provided, then thoroughly dried
before attaching the sensor.
3.
For the alarm system to
function the remote key must
be plugged into the alarm unit.
4.
When attaching the alarm to
the surface follow the cleaning
instructions for the sensor
given in step 2 above.
