8.1 BELT TENSION

SEE FIGURE 15

After the power has been disconnected and the covers are opened, grinding belt tension is adjusted by

using the handle located on the motor side of the machine. It's location is shown below. Spring tension is
used to keep the belt tight.

Crank the handle enough to loosen the belt and then remove it.

NOTE:  There should be a mark inside the grinding belt indicating the rotation. If not, make sure to

note which way the belt was turning so when it is reinstalled it turns in the same direction.
