for the relay form factor and number of poles are provided along with selections for
start and stop percentages and step time for use with the Datalog/Measure mode.
Go/No-Go Test Sequence:
Check that all contacts are in the non-operate position
Drive the relay coil to the VOPER voltage
Wait the specified Step Time
Check that all contacts are in the operate position
Drive the relay coil to the Limit entry
Check that all contacts have switched back to the non-operate position
Datalog/Measure Sequence:
Check that all contacts are in the non-operate position
Drive the relay coil the Start Voltage (Limit Entry times the Start Volts entry)
Wait the specified Step Time
Check that all contacts are in the operate position
Decrement the applied coil voltage by the specified Step Volts and drive the
relay coil
Wait the specified Step Time
Check to see if all of the relay contacts have switched to the non-operate
position
Repeat above two steps until all contacts have switched back to the non-
operate position or the Stop Voltage has been reached.
Report the voltage at which all of the contacts have switched back to the
non-operate position

test measures the contact resistance. An A-Form relay contact resistance
is measured by first applying the V

. A C-Form relay contact resistance is measured in the non-operated position

operated position and the higher of the two readings is reported.

test determines the time required for the relay contacts to close after the
specified coil voltage is applied. The resolution for this test is ±50
μS.

test determines the time required for the relay contacts to open after the
specified coil voltage is removed (the coil voltage is applied and contact closure is
confirmed). The resolution for this test is ±50
μS.

A relay with the contacts welded in the operated position can be determined by
checking that it fails V
