Overview

Your GPSteer calibration needs will depend on your vehicle and 
the conditions under which you are farming. 

The primary method for calibrating GPSteer is to adjust the 
Needle Valve on the GPSteer Valve Block. 

Once the Needle Valve has been adjusted, there are typically two 
controller settings you may need to adjust: proportional band and 
sensitivity. If GPSteer is still not calibrated correctly, you may need 
to adjust some miscellaneous steering settings.

In this section, we have provided a basic overview of what each 
setting does. Following this, in “Calibration Procedure,” we have 
outlined the recommended order to adjust various settings.

The number of calibration steps you will need to perform for each 
setting will depend on how the steering affects your vehicle.

Note

: The calibration settings referenced in this section 

assume that the steering linkage and hydraulics on the vehicle 
are in good working order.
