Cleaning the charging pins
Before cleaning the charging pins, the voltage supply to the charger must be disconnected. Pro-
ceed as described below to clean the charging pins:
•
Disconnect USB power supply
•
Remove chips and contamination with compressed air. Note the danger of
cutting on chips.
•
Clean/wipe the charging pins with an alcohol based cleaner (e.g. ethanol)
•
Wipe the charging pins dry with a clean cloth
•
Reconnect the charger to the power supply

Checking the charging pins
Before checking the charging pins, the voltage supply to the charger must be disconnected. Check
the charging pins for visible deformation, damage, oxidation or wear.
Damage or wear can endanger the functionality of the product. In this case, return the product
to SCHUNK for revision.
