4. Maintenance
Your KL 200 requires no maintenance. To clean the outside surfaces, use a soft dry cloth or any
off-the-shelf cleaning pads for plastic surfaces.
5. Accessories
5.1. Light guides
Only light guides made by SCHOTT can ensure trouble-free operation and optimum light
output. A wide range of accessories is available for your KL 200.
5.2. Filters
Bulb compartment with filter holder
Removal of filter holder
Pressing smoothly with 2 fingers on both
black pins and pull out the filter holder.
Insert Filter
Slide the required filter from the right side
“parallel” to the filter holder surface into the
holder. Don´t touch the filter without glooves.
Replacing the filter holder
Pressing smoothly with 2 fingers on both
black pins and replacing the filter holder into
the groove of the lamp holder.

It is possible to install screw-mounting filters in front of the light guide output end in con-
junction with the focusing attachment.
The focusing and filter set comprises a focusing attachment with an aspherical lens which can
be installed on all light guides available in our accessory range and five screw-mounting filters:
blue, red, green, orange and one daylight conversion filter.
If you wish to illuminate larger areas with coloured light, the aspherical lens can be removed
from the focusing attachment. Apart from the filters provided in the set, any off-the-shelf filters
with an E 19 mounting thread can be used.
