We have established a sharpening service in our Service
department. Incorrectly resharpened saw blades result in
production losses or a considerable hazard for the user.
7.3
Changing the carbon brush – only
EFA SL 24 WB, EFA SL 50-18 and EFA 63
When the carbon brushes are worn down, the automatic switch-off
interrupts the power supply and the machine stops.
The automatic function prevents the armature collector from being
damaged by the brush spring.
There is no need for constant monitoring.
Attention!
Disconnect the saw from the
mains.
The carbon brushes are only
allowed to be replaced in pairs.
When replacing the carbon with automatic feed, the connection
must be laid as a loop,
see Fig. 7.5
.
After at least every second carbon change, the cavities between the
armature,
see Fig. 7.6
, must be brushed through with a plastic brush.
