6 Installation
6.1 Safety
6.1.1 Safety Instructions for Installation
The lifting device must be installed and maintained only by qualified specialist electricians and mechanics.

Improper mounting

Carry out mounting and removal only when the device is in an idle, depressurized
state.

Ensure that the lift capacity of the hoist (crane, chain hoist, lifting tackle, etc.) is at
least equal to the sum of the lifting device’s weight and lift capacity.

Ensure that the hoist is in perfect working order.

Only hang the lifting device from the suspension eye.
6.1.2 Protective Equipment

The following protective equipment is required for installation, troubleshooting and maintenance
work:
•
Protective work shoes
•
Sturdy work gloves
•
Where applicable, fall protection personal protective equipment (fall protection PPE)
6.2 Mounting the Operator Handle
The operator handle (5) is included in the delivery. The cover is loosely attached. Four fastening screws are
included separately.
1. Lift the cover slightly.
