9.1 General notes

9.2 Checking safety features

A non-return valve is built into the rotary union of the vacuum tube lifter

This prevents the working vacuum from falling too quickly in the event of a power failure.
Check this non-return valve at the start of every shift (if the unit is not operated continuously) or once a
week (if operated continuously). Be sure to remain outside of the danger zone during the check.
Rectify any faults before starting operations with the vacuum tube lifter

Procedure:

1. Switch on the vacuum tube lifter

2. Lift the load and

move the twist grip to the “Lift” position.

3. Switch off the vacuum tube lifter

should lower slowly, the

load cannot be released until it is close to the ground and must not fall suddenly.

Please read section 1.6 (Requirements & instructions for installation, maintenance
and operating staff) before starting maintenance.

read and understood the operating instructions.
