8 TROUBLESHOOTING

Magnetic chuck of the precision sine table does not switch

 

■

Magnetic chuck not connected to the control unit. Check the connection.

 

■

Magnetic chuck defective. Send the precision sine table with electro permanent magnetic chuck/electromagnetic 
chuck to SAV GmbH for repair.

 

■

Control unit not connected to the power supply or defective. Check the control unit.

Workpiece not adhering to the magnetic chuck of the 
precision sine table

 

■

Holding force of the workpiece too low, e.g. due to high-alloy workpieces. Note the information in  
section 3.1 “Holding forces”.

Please note the detailed checklists for troubleshooting in the operating instructions for the SAV polarity reversal 
control units.
