OPTICAL ANTI FOAM DETECTOR

The SX6-TO anti foam detector detects an attempt of damping the siren with acoustical
signaling with PUR foam. The detector is dedicated to be mounted in Satel's SD-6000
outdoor siren.
Note: The SX6-TO detector can only be installed in the SD-6000 sirens manufactured after
1 August 2014.

transmitter and receiver diodes.
LED (red). The LED is ON when there is no communication between the transmitter and
receiver diodes. It goes on about 2 seconds after the infrared beam is broken, and goes
off immediately after the obstacle is removed.

2. Installation
Disconnect power before making any electrical connections.
1. Insert the SX6-TO board into its holders in the enclosure base of the siren.
2. Connect power cables to the 12V and COM terminals.
3. Connect the TMP terminals in series with the tamper switch of the siren.
