12. Control panel firmware replacement
Available on the

website is the current version of control panel firmware and
the F
LASH
X program enabling to write it to the control panel. In order to replace the firmware:
1. Connect the control panel RS-232 or USB port to the computer port (for the connection
method please refer to the I
NSTALLER MANUAL
).
2. Start the F
LASH
X
program.
3. Click on the
button to select the file with control panel new firmware.
4. Click on the
button to indicate the port to be used for communication with the control
panel and start the firmware replacement.

Using the function available in the service mode, start the STARTER program in the
control panel (
R
ESTARTS
S
TARTER
).
During operation of the STARTER program the control panel does not perform
its normal functions (only the status of electronic fuses being monitored).
The STARTER program is waiting 2 minutes for the procedure of control panel
firmware replacement to begin. If it does not happen, the control panel will
return to the service mode.
If the firmware replacement procedure is suddenly terminated (e.g. due to loss
of power) and, as a result, the control panel firmware is damaged, the STARTER
program will start automatically and will remain active until the correct firmware
is installed.
You can run the STARTER program by shorting the RESET pins when starting
the control panel – remove the short immediately after power-up (within approx.
one second).
