Setting the Side Key Guard
This feature enables you to lock your external keys while the phone is closed.
To activate this feature:
•
Select MENU/OK >
Settings
>
Side Key Guard
>
On
.
•
Key Guard
appears on the Sub LCD when you press any side key while the phone is
closed.
•
To deactivate this feature, select
Off
.
Note:
This feature does not apply when the phone is open.
Setting Abbreviated Dialing
To activate the Ph. Book Match feature:
1.
Select MENU/OK
>Settings > More… > Call Setup > Abbrev. Dial
.

Select
Ph. Book Match
.
3.
Select
On
.
To activate the Prepend feature:
1.
Select MENU/OK
>Settings > More… > Call Setup > Abbrev. Dial
.

Select
Prepend
.
3.
Select
On
.
4.
Enter the first five- or six-digit prefix in the
Prepend#
field and then select
OK
(left softkey).
To deactivate this feature, select
Off
during step 3 above.

To make an Abbreviated Dial call, see “Using Abbreviated Dialing” on page 14.
