To set the jumper, perform the following:
1.
Before setting the CMOS jumper the product must be switched off and disconnected from power by removing
the power cable.
2.
After 15 seconds, short pin-2 and pin-3 on CLRMOS1 for 5 seconds using a jumper.
3.
After updating the BIOS, do not clear CMOS. If you need to clear CMOS after just finishing a BIOS update, boot up
the product first, then shut the product down before clearing CMOS.
Placing the jumper on the pins is a short. If no jumper is placed on the pins, the jumper is
open.
If the CMOS battery is removed, Password, date, time, user default profile and MAC address
are cleared.
13.2.2.
Clear CMOS (CLRMOS2) Jumper
CLRMOS2 clears data in CMOS automatically with AC power on.
Clear CMOS Jumpers (CLRMOS2) 2-Pin Jumper
