4. Alignment and Troubleshooting

4.1.7. Updating Firmware

This chapter includes instructions for updating the printer firmware. You can update the printer firmware by using one
of the following methods :

•

Update the firmware by using the USB port.

•

Update the firmware by using the Network.

4.1.7.1. Update the firmware by using the USB port

Upgrading preparations

•

CLP680DW_UpgradeJig.exe

•

CLP680DW_V4.00.01.51.exe

Upgrade Procedure

REMEMBER

Please follow the procedures carefully

1) Make sure that the machine is connected to the PC with a USB cable or Network

2) Execute CLP680DW_UpgradeJig.exe And then patch rom will be download on the machine via USB or Network port.

3) Please wait until green LED is ON.(About 1~2 minute)

4) Execute CLP680DW_V4.00.01.51.exe

5) Please wait until the machine is reboot.

NOTE

If the firmware version is V4.xx.01.49 and more higher, Please run a CLP680DW_V4.00.01.51.exe only. (Need NOT a
UpgradeJig.exe)
