3. Disassembly and Reassembly

3.4.5. CIS unit and Scan Drive unit

Remove the platen unit. (Refer to 3.4.4)

Remove 5 screws from the bottom of the platen unit.

Remove the OPE Unit.

Remove 3 screws.

Lift up and release the platen upper from the platen
lower.

Unplug the flat cable. Release the CIS unit.

Remove the scan drive unit after removing 3 screws.
