Viewing the Channel Guide
To view the Channel Guide:

Press GUIDE on the remote control or highlight
GUIDE
on the main menu and
press ENTER.

Highlight the
Channel Guide
button at the bottom of the Program Guide
and press ENTER.
The Channel Guide has a number of features and navigation buttons to help you
find information quickly. Take a moment to review the Channel Guide.
A
Scrolls up through all of the available
channels. Highlight
y
and press ENTER
repeatedly until the channel you are looking
for is displayed.
B
Displays which channel is currently selected
to show program information in the
Channel Guide.
C
Scrolls down through all the available
channels. Highlight
z
and press ENTER
repeatedly until the channel you are looking
for is displayed.
D
Scrolls back quickly through program
times. Highlight
xx and press ENTER
repeatedly until the time you are looking for
is displayed.
E
Scrolls back through program times.
Highlight
x and press ENTER repeatedly
until the time you are looking for is dis-
played.
F
Displays the program title, current time, and date.
G
Displays titles and other information about upcoming programs for the
channel and times selected.
H
Returns to the Program Guide. Highlight the Program Guide button on the
menu and press ENTER to return to the full screen Program Guide.
I
Exits the Channel Guide and returns your HDTV to normal viewing mode.

he Channel Guide displays information about an individual channel, both about the program
currently being broadcast and upcoming programs on that same channel. The Channel Guide
supplies a higher level of detail about individual programs; it provides a program synopsis and
lists all of the minor channels available. (For a definition of major and minor channels, see
“Major and Minor Channels” in the Glossary on page 51.)
