Your phone will beep at you from time to time to let you know
that certain things have happened. You can easily turn these
beeps off or on. Following is a description and a simple
procedure to turn them on or off.

A service alert is two short beeps that sound when:

The phone experiences a dropped call or a failed call.

♦

The phone enters or leaves a service area.

To set the service alerts on or off:

Press

to display the Main Menu.

Press

for Setup.

Press

for Sounds.

Press

for Alert.

Press

for Service.

Press the scroll keys to toggle between On / Off. When the
desired setting displays, press

to save.

You can set the minute beep option to sound an alert 10
seconds before each elapsed minute to remind you of the
length of the current call.

To turn minute beep on or off:
