[1] PSTN Rerouting Insert Digit
Function
The SMG-400 system provides a function called PSTN rerouting (or PSTN
Detour). PSTN rerouting is used to reroute a call set by a VOIP to PSTN network
bypassing an IP network in the case of having poor QoS (Quality Of Service), or
detecting IP network being busy or disconnected or in error.
At the time of PSTN rerouting, an access code is required for PABX or KTS
connected to SMG-400 to access the PSTN trunk line depending on the
environment of the operating site. This access code can be specified.
Procedure
1. In the <PSTN Configuration Menu> screen, type ‘1’, and press [Enter].

2. To set an access code for PSTN routing, input ‘0’ and press the [Enter] key.

3. Input an external trunk access code used in the extension of the PBX or KTS
connected to the SMG-400 and press the [Enter] key.
