Installing the System
Caution:
•
There must be spare connectors in the MDF for future upgrades.
•
If you are installing the system for the first time or upgrading the system, you need to request appro-
priate trunk services or a leased line from the telephone company.
Installing the Storage Battery
Precautions
•
Check that there is no damage to the battery before installation.
•
When installing, stand the battery on a wooden stand or box so that it does not move or tilt.
•
When connecting the battery, take care with the polarity. Tighten the nut and bolt securely and
cover with grease to prevent erosion.
•
Fully charge the battery before starting the system.
