Assigning a shortcut to a key
1. Select the key to be used as a shortcut key.
2. Select the menu that will be assigned.
Using shortcut options
From the Shortcuts screen, press <
Options
> to
access the following options:
•
Assign
: assign a shortcut menu.
•
Change
: change a shortcut menu assignment.
•
Remove
: deactivate the shortcut assignment to
the selected key.
•
Remove all
: deactivate all shortcut
assignments.
Time & date
(Menu #.1.4)
Use this menu to change the current time and date
displayed on your phone.
•
Time
: enter the current time.
•
Date
: enter the current date.
•
Time format
: select a 12-hour or 24-hour time
format. To select AM or PM for 12-hour time
format, press [Right].
•
Date format
:
select a date format.
•
Home zone
: select your home time zone. You
can view the time difference between your home
time zone and Green witch Mean Time (GMT). If
you want to apply Daylight Saving Time (DST) to
your time zone, select
Daylight saving
.
•
Automatic update
: select to receive time
information from your network.
Volume key
(Menu #.1.5)
Use this menu to set whether the phone mutes the
call ringer or rejects a call if you press and hold
[ / ] when a call comes in.
Anykey answer
(Menu #.1.6)
Use this menu to answer an incoming call by
pressing any key, except for <
Reject
>, [
], and
[ / ].
Camera key
(Menu #.1.7)
Use this menu to set a default function for the
Camera/Video call key, [
]. If you select
Always
ask
, the phone will ask you to select the function
each time you press and hold the key.
Slide settings
(Menu #.1.8)
Use this menu to set how the phone reacts when
you open it for an incoming call, and when you close
it while using a function.
•
Slide up
: set whether or not to answer a call by
opening the phone.
•
Slide down
: set whether or not the phone
maintains the menu you are using when you
close the phone.
When you set
