Memory status
: check the number of contacts
you have stored in the phone’s memory and on
the USIM/SIM card.
Organising contacts in a group
You can organise your contacts in caller groups.
Creating a caller group
1. Scroll to the
Groups
tab.
2. Press <
Options
> and select
Create group
.
3. Enter a name for the group and press <
Save
>.
Editing members in a caller group
1. Select a group.
2. Press <
Options
> and select
Edit group
.
3. Press [Centre] to select the contacts you want
and then <
Save
>.
Managing caller groups
From the group list, press <
Options
> to access the
following options:
•
View
: display the members of the selected
group.
•
Create group
: add a new group.
•
Create message
: send an SMS, MMS, voice
message, or e-mail.
•
Delete
: delete the selected group. Group
members, however, will not be deleted from
Contacts.
•
Rename
: change the group name.
•
Group settings
: assign an image and ringtone
to the selected group in the phone’s memory.
Synchronising contacts
You can synchronise your Contacts with the web
server you have specified. First, you need to set up
the profile to be used for synchronisation.
Creating a synchronisation profile
1. From the Contacts list, press <
Options
> and
select
Synchronise
.
2. Press <
Add
>, or press <
Options
> and select
New sync profile
.
3. Specify profile parameters:
•
Profile name
: enter a name for the profile.
•
Sync category
: select the applications you
want to synchronise with the server.
•
Sync type
: select a synchronisation type.
•
Sync server
: enter the web server address,
or login ID and password.
•
Network profile
: select a connection profile
to be used for connecting to the web server.
You can also create or edit a profile.
4. Press <
Save
> to save the profile.
Starting synchronisation
1. From the Contacts list, press <
Options
> and
select
Synchronise
.
2. Press <
Options
> and select
Start sync
.
3. Press <
Continue
> to start synchronisation with
the web server you have specified.
