Viewing your Pictures
After you take a photo, you can access various options from the
Image Viewer. The Image Viewer uses your Gallery. For more
information, refer to
“Gallery” on page 72.
Using the Camcorder
In addition to taking photos, the camera also doubles as a
camcorder that also allows you to record, view, and send videos.
Note: The camera may not be able to properly record videos to a memory card
with a slow transfer speed.
Shooting Video
Tip: When shooting video in direct sunlight or in bright conditions, it is
recommended that you provide your subject with sufficient light by having
the light source behind you.
1. From the main Home screen, tap Camera to activate
the camera mode.

Touch and drag the Camera mode button down to
Camcorder Mode.

Using the phone’s main display screen as a viewfinder,
adjust the image by aiming the camcorder at the subject.

Before you take a video, you can zoom in up to 4x (400%)
using the
Up and Down Volume keys or by pinching the
screen outwards and inwards.
5. If desired, before taking the video, you can tap on-screen
icons to access various camera options and settings.

You can also tap the screen to move the focus to the area
you touch.
7. Tap the Video key ( ) to begin shooting video. The red
light will blink while recording.

You can tap the screen to move the focus to the area you
touch.
9. Tap to turn on auto focus. This will automatically focus
on the middle of the screen.

To capture a still image from the video while recording, tap
. This feature is not available when the anti-shake
feature is activated.
Image viewer : allows you to access the Image viewer
and the various viewing options for a selected picture.
Image viewer options are described in the following
section. The last picture taken is displayed as a thumbnail
in the Image viewer icon.
