Each SCM provides 12 additional conference circuits. (5 parties ea.)
o
You can install 2 SCMs per LP40; however, you can only 12 conference circuits from
ONE
of them. This means (6+12) 18 maximum conference circuits per LP40.
o
When you have 2 SCMs on an LP40 card, you CAN get 12 DTMFRs per SCM for a
total of 12+12=24 DTMFRs from the 2 of them together.
o
MAX 54 conference circuits per system (3-cabinet system with 3 SCM cards, one
SCM per LP40). (6+12)x3 LP40s= 54.
o
Each LP40 provides 8 DTMFRs by DEFAULT with NO daughtercards installed.

An optional MODEM daughtercard can be installed
only on the MP40
. This modem
daughtercard is the same card used in the OfficeServ 500 system. This modem is used for
WebMMC/Installation Tool connections to the system (if you choose not to connect using the
LAN connection).
