4. Troubleshooting

4.5.5.4. Adjustment

Print Adjustment

•

Diagnostics > Adjustment > Print Adjustment > Automatic Adjustment

Purpose

To calibrate/adjust the lengths of vertical & horizontal image and image position automatically in
print engine.

Operation Procedure

1) Press “Paper Supply” button and select a tray.

2) Press “Paper Size” button and select a paper size of the previously selected tray.

3) Press “Print” button. A test pattern will be printed out.

4) Place the printed pattern on platen.

•

The words “front side” on the chart face the glass

•

The arrows face left edge of the platen

•

Press “Scan 1”

5) Press “OK” button. Automatic scanning will occur .

6) Place the printed pattern on platen.

•

The words “back side” on the chart face the glass

•

The arrows face left edge of the platen

•

Press “Scan 2”

7) Press “OK” button. Automatic scanning will occur .

8) The system will automatically calculate the proper value based on scanning result of the

test pattern.

9) The new values are set to the system.
