View email messages
1. From the Home screen, open the application list
and select Google Mail .
2. Select an email message from the message
thread list.
You can reply to or forward a message; from the
open message, select
Reply , Reply to all , or
Forward .
Organise email by labels
You can organise your email by labelling your
messages or adding stars to mark important
messages. You can sort messages by label filter.
Add a label to a message
1. From the Inbox screen, touch and hold a
message.
2. Select Change labels .
3. Select a label to add and select OK .
Add a star to a message
1. From the Inbox screen, touch and hold a
message.
2. Select Add star . The star icon next to the
message is activated.
• This Google Mail menu may be labelled
differently depending on your service
provider.
• When you launch Google Mail for the first
time, your email will not appear, because the
Auto-sync feature is turned off by default. To
change the setting and synchronise your
email, open the application list and select
Settings
→
Data synchronization
→
Auto-sync .
