Calling

Name, Phone number, Call date and time
• Tap to display the call screen. Tap an item on the call screen to make a call, send
SMS, etc.
• Touch and hold to display the following menu.
- Edit number before call: Edit a number before calling.
- Delete from call log: Delete from call log.
- Register as blocked number: Register as blocked number of Nuisance call
blocking service (P.58) or register/release to Block numbers (P.59) that
reject incoming call or messages.
- Register to Favorites: Register to favorites.
- Search location: Connect to imadoco search/imadoco kantan search.

Outgoing call, incoming call, Missed call
• The difference between voice and video calls are not shown.

Voice call key
Make a voice call to the number for the call log.
Information
• When there is a missed call, appears on the status bar. Scroll/flick
the status bar downward and follow the onscreen instructions.
• From the Home screen, "apps folder" → Tap "Dial" to activate "Dial"
app provided by Galaxy, and then tap "RECENTS" to check incoming/
outgoing call log. However, available functions etc. differ from those
of "Phone" app provided by DOCOMO.
Answering message
Set answering message which plays answering message and
records caller's message when you cannot answer an incoming call.
• Answering message is not available for video call.

From the Home screen, → → "Call settings"

"Answering message settings" → "Auto answer with message"
→ "Always"/"Turn on when set to vibrate"/"Manual"
• Tap "Play answering message after" to set answer time from 0 to
120 seconds.
• Tap "Language" to set language for answering message.
Information
• When there is a recorded answering message, appears on the
status bar. Scroll/flick the status bar downward and tap "New
recorded messages" to check answering message. From the Home
screen, → → "Call settings" → "Answering message settings" →
"Recorded messages" to check answering messages.
