Calling
Call settings
You can set functions for calling from the Home screen, → →
"Call settings".
Item Description
Hide contacts without numbers When displaying the contacts by "Dial"
numbers provided by Galaxy, display
only contacts with registered phone
numbers. The other contacts is not
displayed.
Network
services Voice mail service * The service takes voice message of
the other party for you if you cannot
answer an incoming call.
Call forwarding

The service forwards a call if you
cannot answer an incoming call.
Call waiting * The service which allows you to put
the current call on hold and answer a
second call or make a call to another
party.
Caller ID notification Notify your phone number on the
screen display of the other party when
making a call.
Nuisance call
blocking service Save caller's number and set call
decline.
Caller ID display
request service Activate/deactivate Caller ID display
request.
Call notifications Activate/deactivate missed call
notification.
English guidance Set English guidance.
Remote operation Activate/deactivate remote operation.
Public mode (turn
off) While the terminal is OFF or in Airplane
mode, a guidance message indicating
that the receiver is in a place where
power should be turned off is heard on
the caller's terminal and then the call
ends.

Automatic
answering Set whether or not to answer a call
automatically after two seconds when
a headset or a Bluetooth device is
connected to the terminal.
Press Power key to
end calls Set whether to end call by pressing
[Power/Screen lock key].
• If "Press Power key to end calls" is
set to ON and the terminal turns
into sleep mode during a call, cancel
the sleep mode by pressing
[Home key] and end call by pressing
[Power/Screen lock key].
