Precautions

Draining water

When the terminal is wet, water may flow out after wiping it off. Drain the

water in the following steps.

■ Draining water of the terminal

Hold the terminal firmly and wipe off moisture on the terminal surface

and back side with dry, clean cloth, etc.

Shake the terminal approximately 20 times, firmly holding it, until

there is no more water splattering.

Swing the terminal about 10 times against a dry, clean cloth, etc. to

wipe off water remaining in mouthpiece/microphone, receiver, speaker,

USB Type-C connection jack, headphone connection jack, keys, etc.

Wipe off water drained from the terminal with dry, clean cloth etc., and

dry naturally.

• Water, if any, remaining in the terminal may ooze up after wiping off.

• Do not wipe off water remaining in gaps directly with a cotton swab, etc.

Charging

Check the following before and after charging.

• Never try to charge when the terminal is wet.
• If you want to charge after the terminal gets wet, let the natural wiped

dry enough water in such a clean, dry cloth with the water drain well,
please be connected to the USB Type-C connection jack.

• Do not use the AC adapter in a bathroom, shower room, kitchen, lavatory

or water-related area. It may cause fire or electric shock.

• Do not touch the AC adapter with wet hands. It may cause electric

shock.
