Notes on possible severe personal injury

Regulators and pipelines are pressure equipment. Improper opening can lead to com-
ponents bursting.

Before starting any work on the regulator, depressurize all plant sections affected 
as well as the regulator.

Drain the process medium from all the plant sections affected as well as the regula-
tor.

Wear personal protective equipment.
