The device may only be assembled, started up, and operated by experienced
personnel familiar with this product.
In these mounting and operating instructions, the term
experienced personnel
refers to individuals who are able to evaluate the responsibilities assigned to
them as well as recognize potential hazards due to their specialized training,
knowledge, and experience as well as their special knowledge of the relevant
standards.
Explosion-proof versions of this device may only be operated by personnel
who have undergone special training or instructions, or who are authorized to
work on explosion-proof devices in hazardous areas. See also chapter 6.
Any hazards which could be caused by the process medium, operating press-
ure, signal pressure as well as any moving parts of the control valve, must be
prevented by means of appropriate measures.
Should inadmissible motions or forces be produced in the pneumatic actuator
as a result of the level associated with the supply air pressure, these must be
restricted by means of a suitable pressure reducing station.
Proper shipping and appropriate storage of the device are assumed.

tive 94/9/EC and the Directive 89/336/EEC.
