Do not use:
abrasive cleaners such as ammonia or bleach, solvents,
gritty detergents or metal scouring pads.
1)
Clean the immersed parts of the machine with a damp cloth or
sponge using warm soapy water
2)
Wipe dry with a soft cloth.
3)
Use your hand to check that the float moves, but without forcing
it.
4)
Use a dry cloth to clean the parts that are not immersed.
5)
Clean the protective grating with soap.
– The grating can be cleaned in a dishwasher.

Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
Machine does not
turn on

Make sure the mains voltage is the same as the
voltage indicated on the
machine’s
nameplate.

Check the condition of the power cable.

If the power supply cable is damaged and a new
one is required, it must only be installed by an
authorised service technician.

Check the condition of the on/off switch.
⇒
If the switch is damaged and a new one is
required, it must only be replaced by an author

ised service technician.

Contact an authorised service technician to:

Check the condition of the fuses on the elec

tronics board.

Check the start-up after disconnecting the cool

ing fan.
Fault warning

Add more water to the tank.

Take into account the maximum and minimum
water fill levels.

If the warning is still active after filling above the
minimum level:

Turn off and unplug the machine.

Use your hand to check that the float moves,
but without forcing it.

Check that the level detector cables are cor

rectly fitted to the electronic panel.
Power cut warn

ing during the
cycle

This warning appears when the machine is ener

gised following a previous power cut. When the
power is restored, the machine asks if you want to
continue the cycle.

If you press the warning icon, the temperature
graph appears and shows the power failure.
Cabinet overheat

ing warning

Check the machine is being used in a well venti

lated area at an ambient temperature of no more
than 40
°C.

Check the machine is not in contact with or near
any heat sources.

When the water’s operating temperature exceeds
60
°C, it is very important to use a lid or anti-
steam balls to avoid excess loss of steam.

Check the ventilation slots are free from obsta
-
cles.

Check the fan is working:

Turn off the machine.
⇒
Allow it to cool down for 5
minutes.
⇒
Turn on the machine.
⇒
Check the fan is rotating. If the fan does not
rotate, it must be replaced.
Water temperature

Stirrer motor fault

Check the condition of the heating element.
The
SmartVide
application cannot
find machines

Check the
Bluetooth
on the mobile device meets
the minimum requirements:
IOS 8 / Android 5.0 /
Bluetooth Smart (4.0)

Check the
Bluetooth
connection is activated on
the mobile device.

Check the location function is activated on the
mobile device (settings > privacy > location) to
use
Bluetooth Low Energy
technology.

Check the antenna is attached to the
Smartvide

and in good condition.

Check the antenna is screwed in properly.

SmartVide
application finds
but cannot pair
with the selected
machine
