At the workplace and after setting the tedder, in the operating position must be:
connect PTO shaft between tractor and tedder,
by means of 3-point linkage by lowering or raising adjust the inclination of the tedder
(recommended around 15°) (

recommended and not recommended operating position. Setting of drive wheel axis nearer the
finger at the ground (
Fig. 18a
) results in better ground linking and prevents its piercing into the
ground. Too far a setting of wheel axis from the finger in operating position shall cause less
effective adapting of any unevenness (
