Getting Started

SAM4s NR-300 Series Operator's & Programming Manual v.1.0

Clearing Memory

Before you use your NR-300 for the first time, you

must

perform a memory all clear to

insure that all totals and counters are cleared and that the default program is installed.

CAUTION: The procedures described in this area are security sensitive. Clearing the
NR-300 memory after the register is put into service will erase all programming as well
as totals and counters.

Memory All Clear

Turn the power switch located on the back side of the register to the

OFF

position.

Press and hold the key position where the

CHARGE

key is located on the default

keyboard layout

Continue to hold the

CHARGE

key while turning the power switch to the

position. The message “RAM ALL CLEAR" displays.

Press the upper left key of the keyboard, then the lower left key, then the upper right
key, and finally press the lower right key.

hen memory is cleared, the register prints a message

“

MEMORY ALL CLEAR OK

”
