Set up appliance
Setup
‒ horizontally and vibration free,
‒ under an extraction hood with flame-retardant filters,
‒ not on flammable surfaces and walls.
● There must be no potentially explosive or flammable material in the vicinity of the appliance, e. g.
fuel, grease etc.
● Do not set up the appliance under a sprinkler system!
● Make sure that there is sufficient free space above the appliance! There must be no shelves or
moveable swivelling equipment above the appliance that could be pivoted over the appliance!
● Caution hot combustion gases! Maintain a minimum distance of 1 metre above the appliance. no
objects or devices must be stored or installed above the appliance!
● The appliance must only be operated in a sufficiently ventilated room. Damage to health through
combustion products can only be prevented with sufficient ventilation.
● Routing of the ventilation systems must be carried out by the appropriate specialists.
● Make sure that there is sufficient area for movement to operate the appliance! Also that there is
no risk of inadvertent impact with persons when handling the appliance. The free area for move
ment in front of the appliance should be a minimum width of one meter!

Remove protective film from appliance. Remove residual adhesive with cleaner or benzene.
10.3
Feed combustion air, extract exhaust gases
● Install the appliance below an exhaust air hood. The filters must withstand an exhaust gas
temperature of 300°C. Use a flame protection filter! Maintain a minimum distance of a metre to
the exhaust gas hood!
● Observe the country-specific specifications for the supply of combustion air and exhaust gas
extraction!
● The gas fitter calculates the supply of combustion air and exhaust gas extraction required.
